A journey out of darkness, one session at a time
At just 14 months old, she began hyperbaric oxygen therapy. By the time she was 6 months old, her world had grown painfully small. She could no longer tolerate light and was only comfortable in darkened rooms. Even traveling required a completely blacked-out car seat carrier to shield her from the light.
Some children are remembered for their athletic ability. Others for their academic achievements. We remember this young man for something entirely different. He was our 14-year-old negotiation specialist.
