Soft shell vs Hard shell chamber

Medical Hard-Sided Chambers

These rigid chambers are made of strong, transparent materials and are used in hospitals and advanced medical facilities. Inside, patients relax comfortably while the chamber is pressurized with 100% medical-grade oxygen at levels prescribed by a hyperbaric physician.

This higher pressure allows oxygen to dissolve more deeply into the bloodstream, supporting healing at the cellular level.

This is true medical hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Soft-Sided or Portable Chambers

You may have seen inflatable or “bag” chambers advertised online or used in sports settings.

These chambers were originally designed for emergency altitude sickness situations. They provide only a mild increase in pressure and do not deliver 100% oxygen.

Because of their limited pressure and oxygen capabilities, they are not equivalent to hospital-grade hyperbaric therapy and do not provide the same therapeutic effects as medical chambers.
